SDL attended the Conference on Low-Carbon and Ultra-Low Emission Technology Application in National Steel Industry

In order to accelerate the promotion and demonstration application of green low-carbon and ultra-low emission technologies in the steel industry, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei strategy Innovation Alliance of Green Steel Technology hosted the Conference on Low-Carbon and Ultra-Low Emission Technology Application in National Steel Industry in Tangshan, Hebei Province from June 19th to 21st, 2023.

Shi Weili, deputy general manager of Beijing SDL Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend and gave a report on "Smart Monitoring promotes Ultra-Low Emissions and Green Low-Carbon in the Steel Industry".

• Organized emissions monitoring

The ultra-low emission operation in the steel industry is characterized by long processes, complex working conditions, and multiple components of pollutants. SDL's organized monitoring solution is based on monitoring terminal equipment such as gaseous pollutant monitoring, particulate monitoring, ammonia monitoring, VOCs monitoring, heavy metal monitoring, etc., combined with intelligent information technology, to achieve intelligent monitoring, quality control, and operation and maintenance.

• Unorganized emissions monitoring

According to the technical requirements of unorganized emissions in the steel industry, SDL provides monitoring equipment such as dust (TSP) automatic monitoring systems, small air quality monitoring syatems and air quality monitoring systems, and provides environmental governance such as closure of material yard, dust removal ash pneumatic transportation, etc.

• Carbon monitoring

The Ministry of Ecology and Environment will promptly launch the second phase of the carbon monitoring and assessment pilot work, steadily expand the pilot projects in thermal power, steel and other industries, and gradually increase the number of participating enterprises.

SDL provides a series of products such as stationary source carbon emission monitoring systems, atmospheric environment greenhouse gas monitoring systems, and portable greenhouse gas analyzers, and has established carbon monitoring and management platforms including carbon emission measurement systems and carbon account management systems.

• Wastewater discharge monitoring

The SDL wastewater quality online monitoring system can be applied to the concentration monitoring and flow monitoring of CODcr, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, heavy metals and other pollutants in wastewater from iron and steel enterprises, and achieves intelligent early warning of operation and maintenance, intelligent diagnosis of equipment operation, intelligent quality control, as well as intelligent analysis covering data analysis, operation and maintenance analysis, and automatic report generation.

• Industrial Process Analysis

Through monitoring CO, CO2, CH4, O2, H2, H2S, COS, calorific value, N2O, Ar, N2, H2O in the steel production process, SDL’s process analysis equipment can meet the gas measurement needs of different components and concentrations, and provide real-time and effective data for safe production, energy saving, emission reduction, process optimization, and ultra-low emission assessment.
