PTR-TOF proton transfer reaction time of flight mass spectrometer

Product Description

The PTR-TOF 4000/4000c proton transfer reaction time-of-flight mass spectrometer combines a proton reactive ion source and a time-of-flight mass spectrometer to achieve online detection of trace amounts of volatile organic compounds and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs/SVOCs) in seconds. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of pptv-level VOCs/SVOCs within the company has the advantages of fast response, no need for pre-processing, high sensitivity and low detection limit.

Application Scope

Continuous real-time monitoring of ambient air quality (VOCs/SVOCs);
Online monitoring of engine VOCs/SVOCs emissions (such as motor vehicle exhaust emissions);
Real-time monitoring of VOCs/SVOCs in industrial production processes (such as chemical plants, semiconductor industry, etc.);
Fixed-point or navigation monitoring of VOCs/SVOCs in chemical plant areas;
Laboratory analysis (such as observation of VOCs/SVOCs and secondary product photochemical processes in smoke chambers, etc.);
Odor source monitoring (such as detection and identification of odorous compounds including organic sulfides, amines, etc.);
Identification and detection of characteristic odor components in food, spices, tobacco and other industries;
Detection and identification of conventional explosives (such as TNT, NG, etc.);
Food/drug safety (bacteria/odor/solvent residue) monitoring;
Medical diagnostic (breath analysis) testing;

Features

Real-time online monitoring without sample collection and preprocessing;

High sensitivity, detection limit as low as pptv level, can detect trace contaminants;

Fast response speed, can quickly identify pollutants within (50~100)ms;

High mass resolution for accurate identification of chemical components;

No carrier gas required, less consumables, and low maintenance costs;

Adopting a unique design to reduce ion loss and requiring a small amount of sample, it is suitable for micro-environment monitoring.
