SDL team’s project won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award

    Recently, the results of the 2022 Beijing Science and Technology Award were announced. SDL’s "Precise Intelligent Automatic Monitoring Technologies and Applications for Environmental Quality Improvement" project won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award.

 

    Faced with environmental problems such as serious heavy metal and volatile organic compound pollution problems, and frequent environmental pollution accidents in industrial parks, China is in urgent need of high-resolution and high-precision monitoring equipment for heavy metals and organic pollutants as well as efficient sensing and monitoring network technology.

 

    The project team has been working on key technologies for more than ten years and developed synchronized automatic monitoring technology and equipment for water and gas pollutants based on proton transfer time-of-flight mass spectrometry and X-ray fluorescence. The combined use of unmanned aerial vehicle and unmanned vessel technology can realize high-density cruise inspection monitoring, high-frequency emergency monitoring of environmental pollution incidents, traceability monitoring of pollution causes, early warning and forecasting of industrial park risks, etc.

 

    The results of this project have provided environmental quality guarantee for important international events and conferences such as the Beijing Winter Olympics, Beijing Winter Paralympics, and the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou, and have been used in many provinces such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, which has strongly supported the comprehensive development of environmental monitoring in China.
